The questions we get asked before anyone signs anything.
Everything below is the answer we’d give you on a call - including the parts that aren’t a sales pitch. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly and you’ll get the same kind of answer.
Before you commit
to anything.
What the first conversation looks like, what it costs, and how quickly things actually move.
What does the free review actually include?
A 45-minute session with one of our digital support specialists. We look at your website, your enquiry routes and how leads reach you today, then tell you where they’re leaking and what we’d do about it. You leave with a practical action plan whether you work with us or not - there’s no obligation and no invoice attached to it.
Do I need any technical knowledge?
Not at all. We handle setup, integrations and testing. You tell us how your business works - how enquiries come in, who answers them, what a good lead looks like - and we do the rest. Most clients are live within 5-7 working days.
How quickly can we go live?
Standard setups are typically completed within 5–7 working days once we have the required content, access and approvals. More complex projects, bespoke development and larger e-commerce builds may take longer, and we'll confirm the expected timeline before work begins.
Will you tell me if I don’t need you?
Yes, and we do it regularly. If your current setup is working, or the fix is something you can do yourself in an afternoon, we’ll say so at the review. It costs us nothing to be honest and it saves you a plan you’d cancel in three months.
What do you need from me to get started?
Depending on the service, we may also need access to your website/CMS, relevant third-party platforms, payment providers, analytics or search tools, and other systems connected to the project. You remain responsible for providing accurate business information, content, approvals and any required third-party accounts or licences.
Do you guarantee results?
We guarantee the delivery of the agreed work, not outcomes that depend on third parties, market conditions or customer behaviour. We do not guarantee specific SEO rankings, traffic, leads, sales, revenue, conversion rates, uptime, payment approvals or AI-generated results unless a specific written guarantee is expressly included in your agreement.
How the agents
actually behave.
What they do, what they deliberately don’t do, and when a real person takes over.
What can an AI agent actually do for my business?
It can respond to enquiries outside normal business hours, subject to the availability of the systems and services it relies on.
Will it sound like a robot to my customers?
We write the agent’s tone with you before it goes live, using your own wording for the questions you ask every day. It’s clear it’s an assistant - we don’t pretend otherwise, because customers notice - but it should read like your business rather than a generic script.
What happens when it can’t answer something?
It hands over. We define the hand-off rules with you during setup - complaints, pricing beyond a threshold, anything regulated or unusual - and the conversation goes to your team with the full history attached, so nobody has to ask the customer to repeat themselves.
Can it make things up?
We build agents to work from your approved information and to say they’ll check rather than guess. In regulated sectors we deliberately keep them to capturing information instead of giving advice. We also test the awkward questions before launch, and you can see the transcripts at any time.
Will it integrate with the systems we already use?
Usually. We connect to most mainstream booking, CRM and practice-management tools, and where there’s no direct integration we can often work through a calendar sync or an export. We confirm exactly what’s possible with your specific setup before you commit.
Is this going to replace my staff?
That’s not what it’s good at. It removes the repetitive part - the same five questions, the diary admin, the chasing - so the people you already employ spend their time on the work that needs judgement. Most clients keep the same team and simply stop losing enquiries.
Who looks after it
once it’s live.
Hosting, maintenance, ownership and the ongoing work that keeps a site from quietly degrading.
Do I have to host with you?
No, but it’s simpler when you do - monitoring, updates, backups and support all sit in one place, and there’s nobody to point at when something breaks. If you’d rather stay where you are, we can usually work with your existing host and we’ll be upfront about anything that limits.
Who owns the website and the content?
Ownership and usage rights depend on the type of work and any third-party software or licences involved. Your domain, business content and customer data remain yours, subject to any applicable third-party terms. Ownership and licence arrangements for bespoke development and third-party components are set out in our Terms & Conditions and your agreement.
What’s included in a maintenance plan?
Secure hosting, monitoring, plugin and system updates, backups on the Growth plan and above, security checks and support from a UK team. Higher tiers add performance work, priority response and content update support. The full breakdown is on the Pricing page.
Can you take over a website someone else built?
Often, yes. We’ll audit what’s there first - platform, code quality, plugins, security - and tell you honestly whether it’s worth maintaining or whether rebuilding will cost you less over a year. We don’t recommend a rebuild just because we didn’t write it.
What if something breaks at the weekend?
Where monitoring is included in your plan, automated checks are used to identify relevant availability or technical issues and alert the team where action is required.
What it costs and
how you leave.
The commercial questions, answered plainly rather than buried in a proposal.
How much does it cost?
Hosting and support plans start at £39 per month for Starter Hub, £69 for Growth Hub and £199 for Premium Hub. All plans are billed monthly and we recommend a minimum three-month term so there’s time to see results. Bespoke development and additional support work is quoted separately.
Am I tied into a long contract?
Plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. There is no multi-year commitment.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, in either direction. You can upgrade at any time and it takes effect immediately. Seasonal businesses often scale up for their peak and back down afterwards, which is exactly what monthly billing is for.
Are there hidden costs?
No. Your plan covers what’s listed on the pricing page. Anything outside it - a new page build, a bespoke integration, a larger content project - is quoted and agreed in writing before we start. You will not receive an invoice you weren’t expecting.
Which plan should I choose?
If you’re a small site that mainly needs to stay online and secure, Starter is enough. If you’re actively growing and want performance work and backups, Growth is the usual answer. Premium suits established sites where downtime costs real money. Book the free review and we’ll tell you which - including if the answer is none of them.
Where your data
sits, and who sees it.
The compliance questions that matter if you handle customer information - which is most businesses.
Is this GDPR compliant?
GDPR compliance is built into every automation we build - consent handling, data minimisation, right to erasure and UK data processing. We’ll walk you through your own obligations as the data controller too. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.
Where is customer data stored?
Within the UK or EEA, with UK-based processing for the systems we control. If a specific integration you’ve asked for stores data elsewhere, we tell you before it’s connected rather than after.
Do you use our data to train AI models?
No. Your customer conversations and business data are used to run your service, not to train general models. Anything beyond that would need your explicit, written agreement.
How do you handle security?
Secure hosting, continuous monitoring, regular plugin and system updates, and scheduled backups on Growth and above. Premium adds advanced security monitoring. Access to your systems is limited to the people who need it, and removed when they don’t.
Can I get my data out if we part ways?
Yes. On cancellation we provide a clean export of your site and data during the 30-day notice period. We don’t hold your domain, content or customer records hostage - it’s your business.
Who you’ll actually
be dealing with.
Sector fit, communication and the practicalities of a working relationship.
What if my sector isn’t listed?
We work with any business that communicates with customers, so the sectors on our Industries page are the ones we’ve done most often, not the only ones we’ll take. Book a free review and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Are you a UK team?
Yes. We’re UK-based and registered in England & Wales, working with UK small businesses, charities and trades. You’ll speak to people in your own time zone who understand how UK businesses and regulators operate.
Do you work with charities and non-profits?
Regularly. Donation handling, volunteer enquiries and grant-funded constraints are familiar territory, and we’re realistic about tight budgets - we’d rather scope something smaller that works than sell you a plan you can’t sustain.
How do we stay in touch once we’re live?
Email support on all plans, with priority and dedicated response on higher tiers. You’ll have a named point of contact rather than a ticket queue, and we’ll flag things proactively instead of waiting for you to spot them.
Can you build something completely custom?
Yes - that’s what our Bespoke work covers, from custom integrations to full internal tools. We scope it properly first, because the honest answer is sometimes that an off-the-shelf option will serve you better for a fraction of the cost.
Ask us the awkward one. We’ll answer it straight.
A free 45-minute review of your current setup, what it’s costing you and what we’d actually do about it - including a straight answer if the honest one is “nothing”.
